Tucked away in a quiet residential enclave on the eastern edge of Bangkok—far from the city’s pulsing commercial core—lies the newly opened S Ram Leisure Hotel, a calm oasis that redefines the concept of modern hospitality.
At first glance, the hotel’s minimalist white façade and sweeping glass windows might feel understated. But step inside, and you’re welcomed into a serene world that balances vibrant design with quiet sophistication. The Lounge Bar, just behind reception, sets the tone: a harmony of forms and contrasts, where romantic orange loungers pop against sleek black leather sofas, all anchored by emerald-green and white marble-topped coffee tables that feel both sculptural and inviting.
From above, the furniture layout reveals a surprising symmetry—like a kaleidoscope of shapes and colors—drawing guests deeper into a space designed for both rest and reflection. A line of crisp white bar stools invites you to pause at the counter, perhaps for an evening drink, surrounded by mellow beats and the soft buzz of relaxed conversation.
Outside, the open-air pool mirrors the white architecture around it, reminiscent of a breezy Mediterranean escape. Terraced rooms open directly onto this tranquil courtyard, creating a seamless blend of indoor comfort and outdoor bliss. It’s a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and let the city fade into the background.
Inside the rooms, a muted palette brings comfort to life. Dark walnut tables anchor the space near wide windows, while accents in cool greens—on bed linens and chair covers—offer freshness against the tropical heat. Whether it’s morning coffee or an evening wind-down, the mood is unmistakably homey.
For founder and designer Sarun, Bangkok’s magnetic duality was the muse. “This city is both a global destination and the second largest metropolis in Southeast Asia,” he explains. “We wanted to give guests a peaceful retreat that still speaks the language of contemporary style and cultural fusion. CAMERICH helped us translate that vision into reality.”
The result is not simply a hotel, but a living philosophy. One echoed in the words of Chinese poet Wang Kangqu from the Eastern Jin Dynasty: “Mountains and forests are a temporal retreat; markets and crowds are the real places to seclude.”
True escape isn’t about distance—it’s about finding peace wherever you are. And at S Ram Leisure Hotel, that wisdom comes to life.
